An inpenetrable martial arts guard is as easy to learn as standing on one foot.

It requires seriousness but calmness. Focus and awareness. Filling your mind with knowledge will only slow you down, like a computer whose memory is all used up. Like a man changing clothes in a small room stuffed with boxes (no room). Like a gardener digging a pond with a spatula. Capacity is the issue. How do you store so much skill in a mind so small? How does a planet find room to house a whole galaxy? It doesn't build itself up, it deconstructs itself into a black hole. Simplify your mind into a bottomless pit. Put down your calculator already; it hasn't enough capacity to define "12345 divided by 0". The result is infinity. Infinitely nothing, which is the same as infinitely everything, because infinity is so great that it has no exception. I could talk (or type) all day and never be finished, but if you understand what I'm saying then you'll see how useless big books are.

The empty mind is the mother of all knowledge and skill, but far less stressful than reading and reading and reading and reading and reading and reading and reading.
