Kuen Kuit (Fist Idioms)

The Manchurians became concerned about the Shaolin Temples' rebellious activities and their continual development of the fighting arts. Therefore, they sent spies (many of them Manchu military leaders) to infiltrate the rebels and learn the traditional Southern Fist systems as taught secretly in the Temples. The rebel kung fu masters, realising this, clandestinely developed a new system that was two-fold in purpose. Firstly, it had to be learned quickly and efficiently, and secondly, it had to be devastatingly effective against the existing fighting systems that the Manchus were learning and teaching to their soldiers. Biu Ji is most misunderstood. It has been touted as a deadly form with which one can become invincible in combat. It has been said to have been so treasured by the Wing Chun clan that it was rarely seen and never taught to outsiders. The Biu Ji form has also been said to contain the secrets of Dim Mak, the Death Touch. All of the above claims are missing the point of Biu Ji. The name is a contraction of 'Biu Yuet Ji', a 'finger pointing to the moon'. Kuen Kuit (Fist Idioms)

Loy lau hoi sung, lut sau jik chung - escort it in, escort it out, when it's gone fire forward (with reference to the opponent's fist).
Kuen yau sum faat - the punch starts from the heart.
The hand that punches also blocks.
The wise eagle never shows his claw.
The best fighters never fight.
